Photographer, Director and Designer

Adventures of Jane

I had the role of photographer, director and designer. I chose to work with a small figurine—small enough to remain unseen in the everyday—and placed it in a variety of locations in downtown Cincinnati, most of these locations being “trademarks” of the city. The figurine’s placement and presence in this exploration gave these “trademarks” new meaning. Suddenly, architecture that was once familiar had been redefined by this figurine’s stance, acquiring characteristics, to some extent, of superiority, intimidation and immensity—characteristics probably never before considered by passersby.
